Therapies offered
Individual psychotherapy
This is for adults, adolescents to explore difficulties and receive support.
Individual psychotherapy might be sought because you are experiencing some challenges in your life right now and you would like to receive support. Or, you might seek individual therapy to process current or past feelings of anxiety, traumatic experiences, bereavement, or identity issues. Either way, individual therapy is there to listen to you and support you alone.
I work with adults and adolescents from different backgrounds in short and long term therapy.
Social Narrative sessions
These are individual sessions to develop an understanding of your cultural, social, and political narrative over eight sessions.
Social Narrative therapy, is a unique ten-sessions to address the effects of culture, society, and beliefs on your upbringing and mental health. This is often the preferred choice for those who have immigrated, been displaced, or come from minority backgrounds.

About me
Hi, I’m Nardine Khalil (she/her)
I set up my practice to reach out to individuals who struggle to feel at home within themselves, or in their communities.
I am passionate about using creative approaches to therapy and body movement to help us understand our unconscious processes and physical responses. I am particularly interested in working with individuals who struggle with identity issues due to factors of race, religion, politics, culture or language; individuals who feel like they don’t belong.
I believe in empathic, non-judgmental, and supportive therapy that integrates the mind, body, and emotions to help you feel at home within yourself and to provide a space to explore how our cultural, social, and political background effects our mental health.
I have experience working with individuals from different backgrounds, in English and Arabic. I have worked privately and for the NHS, in schools, and in refugee services. I am a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist and Counsellor (BACP), and a Dramatherapist (HCPC).
My in-person therapy work is based in North London.
